HEARTX POLICY

It is in the interest of all parties concerned that music lessons will only commence after acceptance of the following terms and conditions:

1. FEES

Virtual lessons:

$25 per 30 minute session

$50 per 1 hour session

​

In-person lessons:

$35 per 30 minute session

$70 per 1 hour session

​

Additional $.50 per mile if Teacher is traveling to the Student.

Rates are subject to review. 

Lessons are paid either biweekly or monthly at the beginning of each lesson cycle via Venmo (@Mykiiie), Cash App ($Mykiiie) or PayPal (PayPal.me/heartxpressions).

The first lesson is free of charge. Payments will begin after the first lesson if Student desires to continue.

2. ATTENDANCE

If the normal lesson arrangement cannot be attended, please give a 24 hour notice. Arrangements will be made for an alternative lesson at a future time. The Student has 30 days to make up any missed lessons paid for. After 30 days, the lesson will expire and there will not be a refund. The Teacher will also give at least a 24 hour notice for any lessons that cannot be fulfilled and offer alternative lesson arrangements. If the rescheduled lesson isn’t fulfilled, the payment will be rolled over into the next payment cycle.

3. PUNCTUALITY

Music lessons must run strictly to schedule. Lessons will finish on time even in the event of tardiness.

4. PRACTICE

The Student must organize their time so that good quality practice can be done under normal circumstances to ensure the results the Student desires.

5. OTHER LESSON ATTENDEES

Friends and relatives may attend the lesson, provided they are not disruptive. If the Student is under the age of 14, the Parent/Guardian shall ensure a responsible adult is present for the duration of the lesson.

6. DATA PROTECTION

All information, both verbal and written, acquired for the purpose of the lessons will be held in the strictest confidence and will not be made available to any third party without prior consent.

7. DISCLAIMER

The Student agrees to pay for any resources required and provided by the Teacher. The Student will be responsible for any loss or damage incurred to any item belonging to the Teacher.

8. PHOTOGRAPHS, VIDEOS & RECORDINGS

Any photographs, videos and recordings taken in the course of the music lessons may be used on the Teacher's websites and social media for the purpose of demonstration and promotion with Student/Parent permission.

9. TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT

A decision to discontinue lessons may be taken by the Teacher and/or the Student. Discontinuation should be initiated at the end of a pay cycle and before a new pay cycle. Once payment is made there will not be a refund.
